This Oratorio (a dramatic piece of music accompanied by orchestra and choir) is based on a poem by Siavash Kasra’i, together with poems by Rumi and Vahshi Bafqi.
Arash Kamangir (English: Arash the Archer) is a heroic archer-figure of Iranian mythology. His name is also in the Avesta, and the story of his arch shooting in order to determine the borders of Iran and Turan is familiar to most Iranians.
Persian Epilogue has been performed for the first time on this scale in Sweden. This choral symphonic piece contains a broad stylistic tone language from classical to New-age music.
